Nuclear Safety

Safety has been and is the number 1 core value of Williams. We have one of the best safety records in the commercial nuclear industry. Our programs and procedures are based on team mandates with a zero tolerance safety program, Task Safety Evaluations, and a company wide culture built on safety awareness and implementation. Integrated Safety Management (ISM) is the way we approach our work. This is accomplished through effective integration of safety management in all facets of work planning and execution. Through integrated safety management systems (ISMS) we will ensure safety adherence and consideration in all of our work packages.

Williams is committed to continuous improvement and accident free performance. WSS has proven that accident-free operation is possible and has consistently demonstrated continuous improvement on all our projects in some of the most stringent work environments.

Safety Conscious Work Environment

Williams Industrial Services Group, LLC maintains a Safety Conscious Work Environment Policy (SCWE) and Training Program applicable to all Williams Companies. This training program is maintained through out the Williams companies and has been audited by 3rd party outside auditors to ensure compliance will regulatory agencies.

Williams SCWE program includes surveys for receipt of employee feedback during the duration of the project to ensure free flow of information, as well as providing the opportunity for employee exit interviews.

In addition to the SCWE program, Williams understands the need of our clients to continuously improve Performance through the development and implementation of Human Performance Training Programs. We as a company value this effort, and we will actively interface with our clients to implement both the SCWE program and Human Performance Training.

Our philosophy is that SCWE Training and coaching for our Managers and all employees creates a thorough understanding that promotes and establishes an environment in which a Safety Conscious Work Environment not only exist in writing, but a shared culture in the workplace.

Labor Relations

Our approach to labor relations is innovative and straightforward. Establishing positive employee relations is a goal on every project undertaken. As a national leader in industrial construction services, Williams offers exceptional labor relations both on national and local levels. Experienced and trained craft people have significantly positive impacts on safety, quality, cost, and timely delivery. Our commitment is to employ, develop, and retain the country's best labor resources benefits your project, our service, and the craft's future.

Williams participates on apprentice training committees of Building Trade Crafts Unions. The training program activity provides Williams' management opportunities to influence the type of training used for both the apprentices and journeymen training upgrades. It also gives us the opportunity to increase the number of apprentices in the training programs. We are active in support of the Boilermakers MOST program and the United Associations (Pipefitters) National Welder and Valve certification programs at the local and international union levels.
